About the event
The ability to understand and successfully navigate the health care system is called health literacy. It plays a crucial role before, during pregnancy and after pregnancy, as the mother’s health behavior influences both her own health and that of her child. Research has shown that women with adequate health literacy are more likely to engage in positive behaviors that impact health outcomes.
