A facilitated monthly gathering that creates a safe space for moms to engage and connect on a specific health topic. These intimate conversations provide support, community and health literacy education.

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT

The health and well-being of women on their maternal journey – before, during and after childbirth are critical aspects of equitable health care. Black women are less likely to receive help due to factors such as financial barriers, stigma associated with mental health struggles, structural racism and a historical mistrust of the healthcare system. Maternal mental health symptoms and issues among Black women are often overlooked and under addressed.

Our signature program offers a profound opportunity for moms to come together, fostering a supportive community that transcends the boundaries of isolation and empowers them with health literacy education.
